About Palm Harbor (F & C Sections)
Palm Harbor represents the original vision of Palm Coast as a Florida waterfront paradise. As the first section developed by ITT Corporation in the early 1970s, Palm Harbor established the template for luxury canal-front living that defines much of Palm Coast today.
The crown jewel of Palm Harbor is its 23 miles of saltwater canals that connect directly to the Intracoastal Waterway. Homeowners with waterfront properties can dock their boats in their backyards and cruise to the Atlantic Ocean, St. Augustine, or points south. This nautical lifestyle attracts boaters, anglers, and those who dream of living on the water.
European Village serves as Palm Harbor's social and entertainment hub. This charming mixed-use development features Mediterranean-inspired architecture, sidewalk cafes, boutique shops, and regular community events. Residents gather here for farmers markets, outdoor concerts, and holiday celebrations.
The neighborhood is also home to Palm Harbor Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course that winds through the community. The Palm Coast Yacht Club and Hammock Beach Marina provide additional amenities for boating enthusiasts, while Linear Park offers miles of scenic trails for walking, jogging, and cycling.
Housing in Palm Harbor ranges from comfortable single-family homes on interior lots to stunning waterfront estates with private docks. The established nature of the neighborhood means mature landscaping, large lots, and a settled community feel that newer developments cannot match.
